We firmly believe that a healthy body leads to a healthy mind. And therefore, at Little Einstein’s Academy, we provide a balanced diet for the children that significantly indoctrinate healthy eating habits. We understand the important role we play in meeting the nutritional needs of children while in our care.
Children attending a full day of long day care are offered at least 50% of their recommended daily dietary intake in the centre itself.
Mealtimes gives children the opportunities to develop self-help skills. The staff members sit with children at meal times to offer support and encouragement to children that enable them to acquire self-help skills in feeding, serving, pouring etc.
On board with us is a qualified cook who carefully plans, researches and creates healthy, nutritious food options on-site. We are stocked up with fresh, seasonal vegetables, fruits and other required ingredients to serve your child with what is necessary for them. We are well-equipped to serve breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and a late snack.
Our daily menu is located near the kitchen at the centre.
We are extremely considerate of food allergies, religious needs and special dietary requirements to personalise meals for each child.
Whilst children are always encouraged to eat, no child is forced to eat against their own will. Children’s choice of food is respected.
